Cameron Pearson

Cameron is a Loan Advisor with AAXA Mortgage as part of the Wilmington Outside Sales Team. He is a true “local”, born and raised in the coastal Wilmington area. Cameron attended all local schools such as College Park Elementary, Roland Grise Jr. High, New Hanover High School and even received his Finance degree from UNC Wilmington. Cameron still resides in Wilmington, recently purchasing a new home in the nearby Ogden Park area. Using his Finance degree, Cameron entered the banking field as a lender and financial consultant for over 4 years. During his banking career, he built a loyal client base resulting from his professionalism and superior customer service. The mortgage industry became attractive to Cameron for the simple reason of freedom to generate his own client base, which furthered his desire to switch industries. He felt the confinement of one institution did not allow him the flexibility to offer his clients the variety of specialty programs and low mortgage rates that are available within the mortgage arena. Outside of work, Cameron has a lifelong passion of surfing which he has been deeply involved in for the past 20 years. “Growing up at the beach, you had two choices: stay on the sand or get in the water. Water it was.”
