Brief - AAXA Offers Lowest Mortgage Rates in Raleigh Area Newspaper Rate Survey

| In a mortgage rate survey conducted on April 4,
2006 by Mortgage Information Services, Inc, AAXA Discount Mortgage offered the
lowest advertised rates in multiple categories. The survey was contacted for
the Raleigh News and Observer, Cary News, and the Chapel Hill News. AAXA tied
three other companies in offering the lowest
3 year adjustable rate mortgage rate with zero points out of forty-one
participating lenders and brokers. AAXA also tied five companies for the lowest
zero point rate for a
30 year fixed mortgage (out of 52 companies). AAXA also edged out
forty-six North Carolina mortgage companies including Charles Holt &
Associates, Inc, Carolina Equity Services, Unisource Mortgage, American Home
Mortgage and Carolina Home Loans by offering the lowest
30 year fixed jumbo mortgage rate in the survey. The survey’s pricing
